Centre for Analytical Research in Development (CARD) is a consulting and advisory Firm based in Nairobi, Kenya founded in 2008. It has a devoted and passionate team of professionals who deliver quality services to individuals, community groups, organizations, institutions and government agencies. CARD operates under evidence based principles that guide all its operations.
It has facilitated several research projects, research studies, needs assessments, participatory situation analysis, baseline surveys, case study development, market research, trend analysis, project evaluations and statistical data analysis. It has also facilitated capacity building trainings on Project Cycle Management, Project design, Project planning, monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, research methods and statistical data analysis within and outside Kenya. Some of the organizations it has supported include; Agric Chains Development (Kenya), Anglican Development Services – Western, Coast and Nakuru regions, Reformed Church of East Africa, Africa Inland Church of Tanzania, Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania and Development Support Network(Tanzania).
The envisaged aim of CARD is to empower individuals, organizations and institutions in solving their problems with available resources, opportunities, innovations, home grown solutions and experiences through carefully guided processes. We start with diagnostic assessment, implement solution based interventions, monitor results and disseminate findings to interested actors. We apply participatory methods and tools in all activities hence fostering empowerment to its clients.
CARD is committed to providing value based services to its clients that have large scale, reproducible and long lasting benefits. The organization is under managing team that includes 3 members of Advisory Boards, a consulting director and team associate specialists. The team constitutes qualified and experienced persons on research, health, environment /natural resources management, ICT, social sciences, applied statistics, business enterprise development and community development.
